Can you use a day left on on pass purchased by someone else?

A friend wants me to ask if she can use a day left on her grandmother's park hopper plus. It does not have a name on it and her grandmother can't remember whether she had to use a finger scan or not.

Please do not turn this into a debate about whether she should use it or not. I am asking if the day can be used. Since this is for a friend, telling me whether she should use it or not won't make a difference.

If it was an old park hopper and not the MYW ticket, then yes she can use it because they don't finger scan those tickets.

My Mom did this 2 weeks ago. We had bought a 5 day hopper pass about 3 years ago, used 2 days, then put the pass in the drawer. Two weeks ago, brought the pass back out and let my mother use it for the last few days.
