Can you upgrade dining but not room on SPD?

I'm sorry if this has been asked, I didn't see it.

If we want a moderate resort and a deluxe dining plan can we just pay the upgrade on dining or are we better off looking for a room only discount? Our dates are 1/5 to 1/16 in 2016.

Thank you! We can't swing a deluxe resort, but my menfolk really want the Deluxe plan. If we can just pay the difference between regular and deluxe that makes it much easier.

A deluxe resort would still only get you regular dining anyway.
