Can you upgrade cabins when you board?

Just wondering, can you upgrade cabins when you board? And can you get a 'good deal' on them if you do it this way?

A friend of mine when on another cruise and was able to upgrade to a much larger cabin for very little extra money. But I am guessing Disney doesn't do this.

It is just a thought. I doubt if we could afford it, but it would be so neat to have a veranda

Yes you can upgrade when you check-in at the terminal, but there is no discount for doing so. I did this last cruise. The price I paid for the upgrade was the price difference between the two Cats.quoted on the internet the day before.
