The RAMADA Main Gate at the park? Have you stayed there? Did you like it? Was it clean? Give me all the dirt lol We just booked there. For our up coming trip!!!!

I have stayed there a few times in the past with family, the most recent being in 2005, and I also am going to be staying their next week! (got a great deal on a room!)
it's so close to DLR, and I never had any complaints about the rooms or service there. I am not too picky about hotels though. Also, having not stayed there for the past 5-6 years I don't know if anything has changed! But i was confident enough to book it again

I stayed there a couple times..nice, no problems..only issue I remember is to maybe be on higher floors as the pool noise got pretty loud at night.

I have stayed there many times. I never had a complaint about the place. It's close to the park. In fact I'm going to be staying there this weekend. Also for me it's just a room for me to put my stuff and and sleep at night. I spend most of the time in the parks.

I was all ready to book this hotel for our disney trip next week. But now I see their pool is closed during the time we will be there. Bummer. Hotel search continues....

You probably won't WANT to swim right now--it's pretty cold!!!

Hi Gisele We did at first have the HOJO booked, but the time we are going the Ramada is cheaper. And a bit closer.

Just stayed there over Christmas was in room 207 if you stand at the street and look at the hotel it will be near the front of the right hand side of the complex.

The room was clean and the staf was friendly. I will say the room needed a remodel. There was some settling in the building and the drywall in the ceiling was showing some cracking, the door jam was split and the tub was flaking off. Now my brother was in room 129 its in the back of the same building and it was just done and it showed.

Now the continental breakfast which is free is nice for the kids. The donuts, pastries, muffins, and cereal are generic which is fine by me. They also have bread, oatmeal, milk and juices. Not big into breakfast so this works for me. If you want gourmet breakfast this is not for you.

Lastly there is a couple shops up front where you can get everything from morning coffee, to a pizza, ice cream and even a convience store which sells just about anything from hats to beer to everything in between.

I will stay again at this hotel any time I go to Disneyland.

There is another thread on here about the Ramada getting a major -re construction scheduled after the pool, starting May and lasting for a while.
