I'm on the fence about about a 1 bdr villa at BWV or staying CL at BWI next May.We will be there 10 days 2 adults 2 ds 6 and 8. The cost is the same. We get a 40% airline employee discount( don't hate me I don't make the rules I just take advantage of them:laughing:.)The club level people tell me there is nothing better than staying club level, but that washer and dryer is calling my name. Can you tell me what else is great about the villas and where to request a room. I think the villas are closer to the pool am I wrong? That would be a big plus in the villa column. I've changed my mind about 50 times, but I think I'm starting to lean more towards the villas I just need someone to push me over the edge. Any advice would be appreciated.:goodvibes

There are a couple of long threads on the resorts board with lots of info:

Another good spot for info:

For the villas, if you book through CRO, your room will most likely be a pool/garden view. If you book with DVC points, your choices will be standard, pool/garden or boardwalk view.

Clarification - There is no BWI Villas. Just the BW Inn or the BW Villas. The w/d is the main reason we always get a one bedroom or larger (plus the king sized bed is pretty nice). We don't pack as much and I go home with a suitcase full of clean clothes.

The quiet (or leisure) pool is usually a little quieter than the theme pool (Luna Park). And this is the view you will probably get booking through Disney Reservation Center. You can request nearer to the elevator if you don't want to walk the endless hallways (;) - not really, sometimes they just seem that way).

It really depends whether you want free snacks and beverages or extra space. Personally I would choose the 1 Bedroom Villa, especially for 10 days. You get twice the space, a full kitchen and the W/D. I can't imagine staying 10 days in a studio and I don't have any kids. We stayed CL once and the service is nice, but in my opinion not worth the cost. You can easily find snacks in the store for less money. :)

I would take club level, views from the lounge are really nice and everyone will have a bed instead of a sleeper sofa.

The villas are closer to the themed clown pool, the Inn is close to the BW Inn pool.

Especially if you get a room with a Boardwalk view in Club level. As stated a one bedroom will be a pool view or gardens.

As to buying snacks at the store, if the cost is the same for a club level room and a one bedroom villa, you will be spending more on snacks staying at the villas since no food is included in the cost.

The one bedrooms are nice, but not nicer to me than club level especially at the BW Inn, they have one of the best on property.

I would recommend getting opinions also from the Resort Forum, especially from people that have stayed in both BW Inn Club level and a one bedroom villa at the BW.

Hard to compare them if you have not experienced both.

What you could do since you are staying 10 nights, is do 5 nights at the BW Inn Club level, then move to a one bedroom villa for the next 5 nights. That way you would have the washer/dryer at the end of your stay and you would get to experience both.

Usually I am not a huge fan of moving, but moving from the Inn to the Villas would be so easy.

Personally if you can get a great discount, I would book BW Inn club level for 5 nights, then I would book Beach Club Villas in a one bedroom for 5 nights, then you get to experience their fabulous pool and have your washer/dryer.

Do the club level rooms have whirlpool tubs?

Cause really, the 1bd is worth the whirlpool tub.

Our last stay at BWV started with 3 nights CL on the "Inn side", then over to the villas for a week. Hands down, I would pick the one bedroom option if the price was the same. While CL was very nice with access to the lounge, you are comparing an average size hotel room (BWI CL)which consists of 2 queen beds and a small daybed to a HUGE one bedroom villa, with a separate King bed for the adults, living room with a pullout for the kids, 2 TVS, full kitchen, washer and dryer, huge walkin closet..along with the aforementioned whirlpool tub.:thumbsup2

Of course everyone's tastes are different, but you may want to check wdwinfo for room photos (or Allears) to get a perspective on the comparison between the 2. Again, if you are looking for "extra space" over the 10 days, the one bedroom in the villas wins. If you want the "extra special" feeling of staying CL and will make use of the lounge offerings and extra perks (check the resort board for the thread filled to the brim with CL info and photos!) then try CL.

In fact, now that I think of it...why limit yourself to one choice? Try a split stay with a few nights at each. (now don't anyone get on me for suggesting a split...it is a piece of cake when staying within the same resort...you just walk down to the desk in the am and ck-in to your next ressie and have bell services move your stuff.)

Good luck with your choice: either way you will be staying at a great resort!!
