Can you tell me about doing laundry at Wilderness Lodge?

We're thinking about splitting our next stay between Shades of Green and WL. We've been to SoG before and loved the roomy laundry facilities that had plenty of washers and dryers! In fact, I remember noticing that SoG had more available washer and dryers than the Polynesian (at least, based on our stay there in 2001) even though it is a much smaller hotel.

So I'm wondering if you can tell me about the laundry facilities at WL. You know, like how many washers/dryers are there, and whether or not the room is always crowded.

I'd love to get away with doing no laundry, but we are a family of 6 now and are staying a nice long time (because of how expensive it is to travel to Florida from Hawaii) . . . so I am pretty much stuck with having to do laundry at least several times during our upcoming trip. :laundy:

As silly as it sounds, one of the main things stopping me from doing a split stay between SoG and WL is the idea of moving to a resort (beautiful as it is) where it is a major pain to do laundry. So . . . can you reassure me? Or at least give it to me straight?

Thanks much!!

i stayed at the WL in 2006 and the laundry was down the hall from roaring forks
they had i think 6 washers and 10 dryers not enough for a resort that size
I was there at 10pm and people kept coming and leaving
I kept wondering if there was another laundry room but never saw one

I second what Alicnwondrln says. The laundry at WL has always been busy when I've used it, which has usually been late afternoon. I remember waiting for dryers.
