Hi I was wondering are you able to take any food or drink into the parks? I am quite fussy at what drinks I like (I tend to only really drink orange squash) and wondered if i will be able to smuggle in a bottle of squash with me?

Also I have read there is a garage at the Santa Fe? What do they sell?
Thanks

You don't need to smuggle a bottle of orange squash in with you - you can take drinks and snacks, enough for all day if you like, into the parks with you :) .

We blatently took food and drink in with us, there were water bottles slung under the buggy and food in the rucksack that they checked through!

When I went in the summer, I found it easier to take two bottles with me (one for squash and one for concentrate) then just filled up when I needed to at the water fountains. DBF tells me that most of the fountains are turned off in winter, as they freeze, but think there's one just off Main Street that's indoors or something. Plus being winter you wouldn't need so many fill up's. :)

Hi,

Never been a problem taking drinks and snacks in - we use a rucksack which is obviously searched on the way in. I won't worry at all!

As said before water fountains around the park and in the two inside corridors on Main Street.

As we drive, we pack loads of small bottles of water and juice concentrate in the car, as in the park they are ridiculously expensive. In the summer you could spend a small fortune on just avoiding dehydration. Never experienced any problems with this - at counter service restaurants no one is bothered what you drink from.

The Garage at the front of Santa Fe is a great money saver. Last year we stayed at cheyenne, and on our walk back from the park, would take a detour and get some grub for the night.

They sell loads, was much bigger than I thought, and a lot cheaper than anywhere else. :thumbsup2
