Can you take bags/backpacks on the rides?

Just wondering if you can take bags & backpacks on the rides with you? Is there any rides that this is not allowed? My fiance and I are visiting DL in September and most days we will have a backpack & a camera bag/handbag with us.

Are there lockers to store our bags somewhere if we can't take them on?

We always bring a back pack and bring it on every ride. Sometimes I will stick my leg through the strap just to keep it attatched to me. It also keeps me from getting up without it. :)

I had my backpack/baggallini on me the entire time, most rides I would just slide it around the front of me (one shoulder'ed style bag). A few rides I had to take it off and put under my seat. I know Star Tours was one that I had to take it off. I never had a problem though keeping it with me the whole time. Also there are lockers on mainstreet near the entrance that you can rent as well.

I was just wondering the same thing ButterflyKisses. Great question.

I do the same thing. I have a Baggallini. Some rides I just take it off and put it under the seat.

I have a sling bag I wear across my body, I either wear it on the ride (it's not big or bulky, the biggest thing I carry is my water bottle and that's just a standard size bottle that I refill) or put it in the ride pouch. It's never been a problem to have any bag with us on rides.

The lockers are inside DL on MS on your right hand side, the lockers inside DCA are right after you walk in and again, on the right and there are also lockers outside the parks in the esplanade.

The only ride we don't take our pack on is Grizzly River Rapids... and there are free lockers right there to use..

I echo everyone else. I also have the Baggallini bag and I take it on every ride and adjust it accordingly. The only rides where I had to store it under the seat in the little pouch were Star Tours and Soarin', but I have to say - I don't know what the heck was wrong with the basket under my seat on Star Tours, but I could barely reach it last year! I have been on that ride so many times before and always tossed everything under the seat with no problem. But when I went on Star Tours in 12/2008, the basket was so far back under the seat that I couldn't even touch the edge of the thing! I had to get down on my knees and on the floor and throw my Bagg back into the basket. I had never had that issue before. I didn't want to be the one holding up the ride because I couldn't find the basket!!!:lmao: Luckily, I have no trouble on Soarin' with that at all!

Oh, and I did get one of the hooks or clasps on a purse caught in the pouch/basket in front of me on Indiana Jones once! I couldn't get the purse out because it was attached to the basket and a CM had to come over and help me free up my purse! How embarrassing! Again, I was holding up the next group of people from loading onto Indy because my purse was trapped!:lmao:

I actually brought a diaper bag and camera on every ride I went on with the exception of the water rides.

~ButterflyKisses~ if your not going to have anyone with you to watch your stuff keep in mind that River Rapids and Splash Mountain can get you a bit wet. Bring a plastic bag to put your stuff in on those rides.:thumbsup2

i think were gona try to take less to the park. but i have a bag as dose dh Pirates messenger bag. We also have a blue bag that is more for the food we bring in.

I have the fanny pack that will hold all fast passes an tickets. Im hoping to take less

You can bring your backpack on all the rides. Just be sure to hold it up off the bottom of the log on Splash Mountain...it will most likely get SOAKED if you don't! (I learned that the hard way!) Also, like a previous poster mentioned, there are lockers next to GRR...take advantage of them, it's no fun carrying a waterlogged backoack around all day!
