Can you take a cooler into the park?

I have seen some things that say you can and some that say you can't. I get the fact that you cant carry glass items or alcohol but will they let you carry in can drinks and snacks. I have a picky child and husband who wont drink or eat just anything.

Unfortunately, coolers are no longer permitted in the parks for security reasons. However, you could probably get away with a SMALL soft-sided cooler.

May I also recommend sharing your food challenges with the various restaurants at WDW? They are more accommodating for picky eaters than you think!

We were at WDW the first week of Aug. People had small soft sided coolers on wheels when we were there. They reminded me of a backpack on wheels but it was a cooler. Unless they have changed the policy they took them in. We took all kinds of snacks, juice boxes, and water in our backpack and nothing was every said about it.

We were there in June and took a small soft-sided cooler with ice and water into the parks with us. We have also taken snacks, water and Gatorade in our backpack.

We have been 4 times in two years and have always taken in a cooler/backpack combo. Never had anything said to us. We take in water, couple of sodas, sandwiches, snacks.

To solve that problem cooler or not I just bought the GREATEST bag at K-Mart. It looks like a purse (has long straps) but is a cooler or I guess a insulated bag. It is made by California Innovations and is called a insulated tote. It was with the cooler/lunchbag section and best of all it was only$7. I love it. It will be great for the plane and the parks. I just thought if they gave me a problem it's not a cooler, plus it's softer and easier to carry.
