Can you take a boat from Contemporary to Ft Wilderness?

Hello,

We will be staying at the Contemporary. I want to take my daughter to the tri-circle-d ranch to see the horses (she will be 4 and loves horses). Can we take a boat from the Contemporary over to the ranch/Ft Wilderness? Or how else do you get there?

Yes, you can. The boat will also stop at WL. I believe the Tri-Circle-D ranch is at the other end of the resort though. You will have to take internal buses.

You can also get off at the VWL and rental a 4 person bike and petal over to the campgrounds. There is a nice paved pedestrian path that goes between the two resorts.

Or from the CR you can walk over to MK and get on the Fort Wildrness bus and ride over. Just tell the bus driver you would like to visit the stable and he/she will help you

While this is correct the area that is being talked about is where they keep the horses for horseback riding. If you come from the Marina and walk past where the Hoop Dee Do is you will see an area where they do pony rides. Right near the pony rides is the barn where they keep horses that pull the carriages in the MK. That barn is also open to the public.

with a horse crazy young lady, i would have plenty of money for at least a couple of pony rides. either the boat from Comp or MK will get you to FW. that barn is near boat ramp as pp said just passed Hoop Dee Doo. also there is a small playground that you walk past so you will probably need to plan a stop there also. i would do on way back as gives something to get her out of barn area.
