We scheduled a dinner at Remy our last night but I hate to miss any of the shows. We have never cruised before. Can we attend the early showing of evening entertainment if that isn't our usual time to go?

Not a problem - you can go to your choice of show. Depending on your itinerary and ship, there might even be an afternoon matinee on the last day- we just cruised on the Dream last week and they performed a matinee of Beauty and the Beast in addition to the two “regular” shows.

As others have said, while you are 'assigned' a show time, it's not monitored and really you can go to either shows, neither shows or both. No one is checking at the door.
