at polynesian resort? Can you wear short sleeves in the daytime?

Thanks!

I think it really depend where you are from. Im from boston and FL weather in NOV is awesome because in Boston at the same time we are wearing sweaters! It does cool down at night but during the day (on most days ) I would swim and wear short sleeves.

Sometimes! Really just depends on the weather which can be a mixed bag at that time of year. We have gone several times end of Nov. and some years we get lots of swimming in and are wearing shorts and short sleeves and other years were mostly in long pants with light jackets. I just keep tabs on the weather and pack for both hot and cooler temps, kind of a pain, but you just really don't know at that time of year!!

We went the end of November last year, and had warm and cool days. But, the pools are heated enough that we swam every day, even the cooler ones. Just plan to layer for evenings. We are from Michigan so tolerate the cooler weather and wore shorts and short sleeves even on the cooler (70 degree) days.:)

Every November trip (last week of November) that we have made we were able to swim at least once while we were there.

I've swum at Disney World in February. I'm from Massachusetts. :lmao: What you don't want to do, though, is get OUT of the water!

Yes, especially if you're from a colder state, you'll enjoy swimming in November.

We've been twice in November. The first time it was cool and rainy and we needed jackets to visit the parks. The second time we never broke out the jackets as it was warm and sunny.

Similarly, we've been to MVMCP in early December wearing winter coats (we've from Denver) and then the next day we wore shorts and t-shirts because it was so hot. You just never know that time of year. Pack long pants and jackets as well as shorts/t-shirts.

Out kids swam each trip in November/December as the resort pools are heated. I've joined them a few times. We even saw families swimming at midnight on some trips in early December.

The weather is usually still warm in November. Just depends on when a cool front moves through. The way the weather has been the last two years, really cold last year and very hot this summer, I would say we are going to have a warm November. Florida, like Louisiana, usually gets their cold weather sometime in January or February.

My answer is maybe. It has been very cold and then the next year it was hot. Check weather.co before your trip. That's what I do.

I think it has a lot to do with the person.

Much below 90 for me and swimming is out unless to pool water is 90+!

We went mid November in 2005 and late November in 2007 and had gorgeous weather! We went swimming and wore shorts/tees day and night.

Now 2008 was a different story. We went from Dec 1-8th and it was so bitter cold! No swimming that year and jackets every day!

We're also from Canada and can handle the cold so it was cold in 2008!

We gone in mid- November twice now(checking out the Sat. before Thanksgiving) Both time we have been able to sit out by the pool during the most afternoons in our swim suit.We also had a swim:cool1: after dark.
Just have a t-shirt or something handy in case it gets windy or the sun disappears behind a cloud or 2;) There was only one day we wore pants and there were several evenings we wore in shorts

The pools I believe are open 365 days a year come hot or cold weather. Last November if I recall correctly the day before thanksgiving was in the 50's, thanksgiving day was 60's and that friday was upper 60's. So it's never TOO cold (and I am from Florida where I embrace the cold when it comes) but Florida weather is odd. One day it can be brutally hot, then that night be chilly, the next day rainy and muggy then that night freezing. My suggestion is pack your swimming gear as well as light layers. So you are prepared for anything.

we too went the first week of Nov and did swim during the day and wore a light sweater for me in the evening, but my husband wore hawian style shirts at night...we are form Boston as well so this was awesome, and we will be back this early Nov too:woohoo:

I would say plan on swimming since the pools are heated and November weather is generally very mild. Have a great vacation.:cool1::banana:

we're headed down the week after Thansgiving so I'm praying too that it's warm enough for me to swim! I've read tips on here though that it's okay while you're in the heated water, but once you get out, make sure to have a bath robe ready to throw on to go back to your room in, especially if swimming at night. And I do plan on swimming at night!
