Can you swim in December?

Don't worry you might be able to swim in December. As for me I'm a native and I would shudder in horror. It's not so much the swimming but having to get out of the pool.

We were just in Orlando for Disney and Universal 12-18/12-23. We had temps mainly in the 60's during the day. Yes, the pools are heated to 82 degrees. I got in the pool at the CBR and it felt a little chilly. Once you get in, it's OK though.

Thanks to all for the responses. I really didn't think I would get this many(once I could get my search to work that is). I think we could swim as long as the water is heated, we are northeners..lol

We used to go to my neighbors in the dead of winter (15 or lower temp usually) she had a hot tub on her deck. We used to sit in the hot tub, have margueritas and watch the snow fall (no cover on deck)...lol (no children, just adults!). We would then get out to head home. Dry ourselves off...put on our sweatshirt and sweatpants then run home. We actually did ok. As you can see, we probably will swim.
