Is it possible to switch bands around within your party? One day I wear the red one, and the next day someone else wants to wear that one? So disconnect it from one person and pair it to the other person? Not talking about using someone else's ticket, just swapping the band in MDE. Just curious.

Never looked fir this. Is there a reassign option? Also, you may be able to delete/remove a band and then put the code in for a different person.

No - once it's assigned to a person and has been used for admission it's always assigned to that person.

The only exception I had was a few years ago when I assigned a new one to the wrong person in my group, and needed to reassign it -- I called Disney IT and they were able to reassign it ONLY because it had not yet been used for admission.

Ok thanks!

Your other option is to get a very small screw driver like a Phillips 00 and remove the puck and swap it between the Magic Bands. I'm not sure it's really worth the time, but it is an option.

I thought the puck contained all of the electronics. I think the band is just rubber and has no chips or batteries.

Nevermind. I was misunderstanding your intentions in switching the puck.

Right now since there's no finger scan it would probably work as long as everyone has the same park reservations.

That may work at the turnstiles as long as they're not using the handheld scanner which would pop up with the other person's name and info.
