HI

I still need to get some computer software games for my daughter, age 8 1/5 and my oldest son, 10.

Daughter has the Barbie Rapunzel and Magical Pegasus and they're so awesome!!!! Highly recommended. Anything else like same?

Also for a 10 year old boy.

My son loves Zoo Tycoon. You get to build and manage your own zoo. There's also one called Sea World Tycoon and Thrillville where you build and manage a theme park.

Those Barbie pc games are great, aren't they!? I just bought the new Charlotte's Web pc game for the kids for xmas, so I can't really recommend that, but it looks great (the movie will be out next week). And I bought the Petz pc game for xmas too...it got good reviews on Amazon.

My dd8 likes the My Scene makeover pc game. You can pick the hairstyles, makeup, and outfits for the My Scene doll.

Totally agree with this poster. My DD is 12, and she is a big computer game player. She loves these games, and also loves the SIMS games (there are several different ones) She is a big animal lover, so she has one game that allows her to be a "veterinarian" pretty cool. Lets her work up a case, order tests and make a diagnosis...then the "medical director" will tell her if she was correct.

She also has a few games that allow her to run her own horse stable. And a movie making game, that allows you to make movies (cast your characters, write scipts, set the stages etc) Then the movie will play according to what you wrote.

I like the movie making game idea --- do you have the name of it???

I love the "tycoons and the sims, I'm a girl so I like the american girl make a movie c.d. room but a boy might like something else. You record what you want each of the characters to say, you get to pick everything and then watch your movie, there are also about 5 pre-made movies for each of the charctaers.

I don't remember off the top pf my head, and DD is at a sleepover tonight. I will ask her tomorrow and get back to you asap!

I spy games are sooo great.
We have them all. The great things are you can never finish it at one sitting...you continue until it's all done and then when you play the next time it's a totally new game. There are 3 totally different games on each cd
For ex. you are on an island and there are stores, building, islands and parks and each one you go to there is a riddle and things to find just like a page in a book. Once you find all the things in the building/park whatever you get a piece of the puzzle and put the piece in the puzzle and then move on to the next building/park etc until you have done them all and then solve a riddle to solve the whole thing, Then the next time you go to start it up all over again it's a new game!! Alot of fun.
