Can you submit waistlist on line when 1 night is available?

Currently have a AKV studio booked for two nights.

Hoping to put myself on wait list for BLT for those same dates. However because one night is available (e.g. for a Lakeview studio) it looks like I'd have to book the one available night in order to be able to waitlist the other (which I don't want to do because I'd have to borrow). However for the standard or MK views, because no nights are currently available I have the option to submit the waitlist now.

For the scenario in which one of two nights are available in a Lakeview studio, do I have to call MS in order to submit the waitlist or is there a way to do it online that I may be missing? I have no issue calling MS - just lazy

You should be able to do it online. When you do the search, it shows you the available night, but if you select the two nights you want in the little chart showing availability for the specific room you want, it should give you a waitlist option (if that makes sense).

Yes thank you. Once I selected the dates to show availability I didn't think to actually click on the dates again. All good.
