Can you still walk through the castle?

In looking at recent castle pics from the Fantasyland side, it looks like the passageway through the castle is blocked with the green wall? Is that so? and also are the shops to the left and right, I think one was a Tinkerbell/toy store themed one and the one on the other side was Christmas at one time, are those open or closed? We leave Friday and just curious as to this status! Thanks so much!

Yes you can walk through the castle. In fact, I think those pictures you saw just made it look like that from the angle.

About the stores, I may be wrong, but I think they are all open.

The only time when Ive been abe to walk through the castle is early morning for breakfast...later in the day they blocked it.

Yes you can walk through the castle. The back right pathway is blocked off as you look at the castle. If there is a show or one about to start you won't be able to walk through the castle.

During our 11 days in May last year, we were only able to walk through once. All the other times it was blocked off because of the Cinderella show and such.
