Can You Still Walk into MK from the Contemporary?

Hi there! I'm having breakfast at the Wave next week, followed by a Magic Kingdom reservation. I just wanted to double check that I can still get into the park using the walkway from the Contemporary? I didn't know if the security station at that side entrance is open right now, or if I have to use another route?

If not, can you use the monorail from the hotel to ride over to MK, or do I have to head back to the TTC to get in?

If you're not staying at thre CR you can only park for 2 hours for your reservation. I would park at ttc and monorail to CR and then you can walk over to MK if you want

Yes the security check point and a temperature tent are setup on the walkway over from the CR. And yes you can ride the resort monorail from the CR to the MK but it will not stop at the MK until they get the all clear to stop.

When do you plan to leave the Wave to head to the MK?

We'll head into MK around noon and maybe stay for a couple hours. We just want to walk around a bit, take some photos, then split. I don't even think we're riding anything –– it's more about dipping our toes in the water to see how safe it feels being back. We're pretty cautious about this first trip (and it's ridiculously hot right now), but excited to be in the park.
