Can you still get the diver/personalized menu in 2009?

I had this booked for our cancelled trip in October. We are going the first week of February. I know awhile back I thought I read on here that it will no longer be offered at Coral Reef in 2009. Anyone confirm one way or the other? Thanks!

Confirming that it is no longer being done.

1) No longer available.
. . . it took too much CM time to answer phones, email and arrange
. . . it took diver time, and they have other water-tank duties
. . . there were too many complaints when people couldn't get it
. . . there were too many complaints if it didn't come off as planned
2) This is a case of too many people knowing about it and spreading the word.
3) Sort of like killing the golden goose.

NOTE: It was supposed to be ended in January 2008, but with little notice there were too many complaints it was being stopped. So, WDW put a "spin" on it and said it was for the second YOMD. Now they had a reasonable excuse for halting it.

Debbie also left for the Brown Derby at DHS and the new person may not have wanted to deal with the headache. It was a wonderful service though and really surprised my wife last month.

I am so sad this is gone b/c I had planned on doing it for my 1 year anniversary.

I was sad to hear this also. I did it in Aug. for my 13 th anniversary to surprise my husband. The second we got to the table my DD sad she needed to use the bathroom as she did not feel well. I got back to the table about 10 minutes later and guess what, I missed the diver and sign!!!! Imagine my surprise!!! The menu were great and they brought out a comp. Champagne toast for us. It was soooo sweet of them, but I can imagine how word of mouth spread the idea way out of control for them! Thanks Debbi!
