Yes at $15 a point up to 24 a year but only at 7 months out.

The OP would need a transfer of one point. That would use up the once a year transfer for both the seller and the buyer.

Congrats. I think the renting up to 15 points per year from Disney is working out for members.

It's too bad we can't do the one time rental at our 11 month window. After the point chart reallocations we seem to be just short of the points we need for the trips we want. Sometimes by only a point or two. I guess an add on will be in our future.

In many situations you can by default by renting an entire night on cash through MS. One nights rental should set you up for a few trips, maybe even a few years depending on the unit size and season in question. Of course this won't work as well for special unit types where cash rentals may not be available though all the more reason to go ahead and take advantage when you can to have the points available when it's more critical. Another option would be to rent from an individual and link reservations, serves the same purpose with some advantages and some disadvantages.
