Can you still book off-site golf carts?

Are you still allowed to rent off-site golf cart rentals? If so, what is the most affordable company? We rented from Disney last time & it was expensive.....not to mention our cart was broken

ETA: Just read through the thread-what a pain in the neck to rent from an outside vendor. Guess we are still bound to Disney's carts....
