Can you stand another Connections (long) comment?

I realize the Connections meal voucher situation has gotten to be a rather heated topic on the boards. But I figured I might as well add my experience.

I joined Connections just for the purpose of getting WDW Quick & Casual meal vouchers. I ordered them and they were here in 3 days and I was only charged once on my credit card.

But I signed up for a different plan that it seems that most folks here have. If I keep the membership after 30 days <font color=red>I will be paying $6.95 per month which can be cancelled at anytime</font color>. For people who expressed concern about ordering vouchers and passes and then cancelling before 30 days perhaps this would a good option for you.

And I do think they will be a good value for us at Mara's and Beaches and Cream. DH and I tend to look at prices before we look at selections on menu's when we dine out and we rarely get dessert. Yes, we are thrifty Yankee's most of the time! But it will be nice to just order whatever we feel like and not even consider the prices.

(The only problem I had with Connections was actually because I signed up through CoolSavings. I called Connections and they had never heard of me even 14 days after signing up. I emailed CoolSavings and after 10 days received an email back that they had 'lost' my information with that of others who tried to join.)

I just posted a very positive response on the vouchers from my DD in disney right now for spring break. Hey I like your picture in front of the ship, we have the same one. But i dropped my tote bag for the picture, and it looks like I dropped my pants!!!!! (I keep that picture hidden)

How did you get offered the option of $6.95 per month instead of the $70 up front? Was that something you asked for or just offered?

Go to CoolSavings and there are 2 offers from Connections - one for $6.95 per month and the other for $79.95 per year. If you do sign up for Connections through CoolSavings you should call Connections after a week or so and make sure they have received your information. I don't know if the $6.95 offer is available directly through Connections but you might want to check directly with them first.

leslieh, I would love to see that picture! I have one of our family on Splash Mountain that I keep hidden also. Before we went on I told DS (8 at the time) that I would make sure he didn't 'fall out' of the log. But in the picture as you go down the fall I am kind of trying to crawl under him to save myself.
