Can you split a meal on the dining plan?

Hi,
I was wondering if you can spilt sit down meals on the dining plan. My 10 year old will prob not finish a whole adult meal and I am watching my girlish figure Also, we would like to do this on 4 sit downs so we can eat breakfast on our departure day. Thanks for any info!

Yes! You can share a CS or TS meal as long as it's not a character meal or buffet.

I guess that would work as long as the two of you want to eat the same thing all of the time. Some restaurants may want to charge you an extra plate fee for splitting the meal. And of course you would want to tip your server appropriately for serving two people even though only one meal was ordered.

We've never had a problem anywhere with splitting meals and they've never charged us extra.

We just got back from a girls trip and didn't have ANY problems. Three of us were on the deluxe dining plan and we split our appies and desserts with the rest of the table. Citricos even brought them out pre-split onto multiple plates for us to share! Jamie got an EXTRA big tip for his exellent service.

We split/shared at Citricos, Jiko, Chef's de France, Yachtsman Steakhouse, and Beaches & Cream.

CRT charges per person, so no sharing.

Crown and Rose and Tony's both we shared before.

Buffet always no splitting.

Thanks everyone for the replies. My 10 year old is an adventurous eater and we like the same things. I am glad to know we can split the fish and chips at rose and crown and a pizza or pasta at via niapolli. This way we will have at least 2 credits to use for boma breakfast! And of course we will tip well
