Can you spare some good thoughts for my mom?

Some of you may remember that right before I got pregnant my mom found out she had breast cancer for the 2nd time. She went through chemo and radiation and is now on Tomoxifin. (sp) At a recent check up they found that she has a few ovarian cysts. There were a few other things too that you probably don't want to hear about. The ovaries are irregular in shape and that can be a sign of cancer, but her bloodwork comes back elevated but normal so they are hoping it's just cysts. She's had them before. She is having them taken out in March. There is no rush according to her Dr, and she will have time off then.

However I'm really scared. They said if her cancer ever came back there wouldn't be anything they could do for her. And now she has this new little grandson that she loves so much. Can you please please please pray for Dixie, that she is OK and there is no cancer?

We pray for Dixie and hope that you will heal her body, that she may delight in her new grandbaby. We pray that you give her strength to deal with the surgery, and for a speedy recovery. I will DEFINITELY pray for your mom, Dixie! I am battling breast cancer myself right now and can relate. I'm facing a radical mastectomy two weeks from today after 3 months of ineffective chemo.

I pray that they will find NO MORE CANCER in her and that she gets a clean bill of health! Anything is possible with God!

Sonya, remember that doctors are just people. Even if they tell you there is nothing that can be done, another one may have the cure. My favorite uncle was diagnosed 15 years ago with terminal cancer. He went to Cancer Treatment Centers of America for an experimental treatment and is thriving now at his home in NC. He was told by the local doctors, he'd be lucky to have 3 months back then. Anything is possible with God's help... and a desire to try to help yourself.

Prayers and good thoughts for your Mom. My Mom is a breast cancer survivor, on of the pioneers, 35 years ago and she is still very much alive and kicking! It is a horrific disease, and one I pray they find a real cure for. They have made wonderful advances through the years. God Bless.
