can you send cards to resort guests?

A dear friend of mine is heading off to WDW and I'd like to send her a card while there. Is it possible to do this and how do you address it? They'll be staying at AKL.

My DH always sends me cards to the resort I'm staying at! He likes to show me that he misses me! Anyway he just addresses it to the resort and then adds my name under everything and guest. It always gets to me so it must work.
