Planning a Non Park day for our arrival day - so as to purchase a smaller hopper pass. Going with newbie Disney goers and want them to have that Disney feel the first day -

Am going to make a PS for Dinner at Chef Mickey's - then plan on cathcing the MK fireworks from one of the Momorail hotels....

3 questions: Is the new "Wishes" show able to be seen from that far away like Fanasy in the Sky was?

If so where should I view it from? Poly Beach - or the Floridian?

Trying to plan dinner before the fireworks. Since October hours are not out yet - anyone know what time Wishes would start at that time of year? It will be Columbus Day - Oct 11th so I have a feeling the park may be open later that day.........

Thanks!

Personly i would make a PS at the California Grill for fireworks time.. they turn down the lights and pipe in the music. Its very nice.

Good view and the show audio is on the PA at 'Ohana in the Poly as well.
The food is family-yummy here too (tho' not cheap!)

You can also see them very well from the Poly beach and from Ohana. We watched them while we ate one night.

We have 5 small kids between us who I was hoping would be more entertained by Mickey and Gang - rather than eating at Ohana.

How far of a walk is it from the Monorail platform to poly beach? Stayed there years ago but cannot recall.....
Any where special on the Beach?

oh i see ok...

its pretty much a straight shot through the station through the lobby out the back door through pool area..
