Can you see Wishes from a LV Studio @BLT or GF?

I posted this question in another thread but I figured I would try here as well.

In December our family will doing a split stay at BLT and GF in a lake view studio. I was curious if you can see the Wishes fireworks from your balcony at either of these resorts? And if so, does anyone have any recommended room numbers they can share? TIA everyone!

It is a MK view villa at BLT that would give you a great view of Wishes fireworks. Some non-theme park view rooms are reported to have glimpses as well.

As for the GF, if you mean the hotel which "GF" implies, a lake view may or may not include views of the MK. I have always loved the views of the MK fireworks from the marina area of the GF.

If you mean the VILLAS at the GF, the DVC resort, I do not believe any of their lake views will have more than a very small view of the fireworks as the GF hotel sits in the sightline of the MK between the hotel and the villas. Any of these 3 resorts would have outstanding views of the MK fireworks from their lakefront.

This is the view from room 8008 on the tenth floor of BLT, a lake view studio. The view of wishes was amazing. I'm not sure of the chances of getting one of these "lake but actually MK room views" is though.

VGF lake view rooms face the Poly, not the MK. There are threads for BLT and VGF room views with pictures here on the DIS.

Thanks DisneyRegulars! That's an awesome view. We are staying at the Villas at the GF so you guys have pretty much answered that questions. I guess all we can do is hope that our LV at BLT will give us a good enough view to see some fireworks. If not, theres always TOTWL. Thanks everyone.

My daughter and I just ret'd. We were in 8014 - it was a handicapped room - but the view was similar. We watched Wishes nearly every night from our balcony. While fully expecting to hit TOWL at least once, we didn't go at all. This was our first stay at BLT and we were favorably impressed.

Some people have posted pics of viewing the fireworks from VGF, so yes, it seems possible.

There are a few rooms at VGF that have reported being able to see some fireworks. And Northside rooms LV at BLT can also have firework views.
