I have ressies for May 2006 at POR and am wondering if any fireworks are visible anywhere from this resort. Or any resort. I will be traveling with 2 little ones, and I am afraid that the noise of fireworks combined with a large crowd will scare them. Also, it is a hassle to exit parks after fireworks with little ones.....

With so many families traveling all the time, I was wondering if anyone can recommend good viewing spots that are a little less crowded. From a distance is fine, maybe better.

Thanks!

We stayed at POFQ a few years ago. I don't remember seeing the fireworks, but I do remember hearing them in the distance. Not so loud that they'd wake up someone who was sleeping, but loud enough that we knew what they were. Does that make sense?

We stood on the beach at the Poly and watched the fireworks at MK. You can hear them as well as see them, just not as loud as being right under them.

I don't recall ever seeing fireworks when we were there. We did watch them from the pool area at CBR many nights. (I believe they were from Epcot.) My son was actually afraid of the noise so it was kind of neat that we could watch from a distance because that didn't scare him. It wasn't nearly as loud as being there so I can't imagine that it would bother your child. :earsgirl:

We stayed in Trinidad North and could see and hear Epcot fireworks from the hotel balcony. The first night I thought there was kids pushing something around outside the room. I made my DH get up and look out to see what was going on!! Imagine his surprise to fireworks!! :earboy2:
