Can you ride a resort bus that isn't your own?

I'm devising a plan to take a bus from POP to Typhoon Lagoon (to spend the afternoon), then from TL to Boardwalk to board a boat to International Gateway (to spend the evening at WS). Is this OK? I mean is it all right to take a resort bus if you aren't staying/eating at that resort? And can you enter that way if its your first time in Epcot that day? Thanks.

Yes, yes, and yes!

BTW, it's an easy walk from the BW to the International Gateway.

A. How would they know.

B. They wouldn't care, anyway.

C. Have a great trip!

Yes you can ride on a bus that isnt yours to another resort (thats how we determine which resort to stay at next) Yes to getting in as well.

As a Disney resort guest, you can ride any form of Disney on site transportation (boat, monorail, bus) an unlimited number of times and go anywhere these modes of transportation go. Enjoy!

Even if you're not a resort guest you can do what's called resort-hopping,many people do it.It's a great way of checking out all the resorts and where you might want to stay some day!

This is a little OT, but this thread reminds me of the time we were riding the POLY bus (we were staying at POP) and a couple on the bus must have assumed we were POLY people, too, because they didn't seem to mind us overhearing their conversation about how Value resort guests were for the "underpriviledged" people who couldn't otherwise afford to go to Disney. I almost fell off my seat laughing!!!:lmao: :lmao:

So, ya, you can ride the other resort busses, even if you are staying at the "underpriviledged" resorts:rotfl: :rotfl:

We have stayed several trips at the Poly.
BEAUTIFUL resort!

But we now only stay at All Star.

I guess we "underpriviledged" should form a "club."

We could certainly better-afford the dues.

:goodvibes

"Underpriviledged" here also. We were at Hoop de Doo waiting - we struck up a conversation with some very nice people staying at the Swan and some others staying at POR. They both called the AS's and Pop the "projects".

They were really bummed when we told them we were staying at the Pop "projects"!!!!!!

We love our values. Why pay more????

One definition of a SNOB:
Someone who makes a show of paying TOO MUCH for fear of looking like a fool...
and succeeding on all counts.

Wow. That's really rude. While the value resorts don't float our boat for a variety of reasons and we do pay more to stay at deluxes--again for a variety of reasons, we'd never refer to the values as "the projects." I'm glad that you spoke up!

As others have stated, Yes you (and others) can do exactly what you want to do with the bus.

Although we really like the Deluxe resorts, We do stay in the values, There is nothing wrong with them and they can be a lot of fun.

For a quick trip, the themeing in the values gives you that total "Disney" immersion that I used to need when not staying for a long time.
