Can you request a lunch dish for dinner?

Do any restaurants allow you to order a lunch dish during dinner hours?

I really want to go to Tony's for dinner, but I can't find anything on the dinner menu I would eat. I did find a few things on the lunch menu though. But I've always wanted to eat there at night on Main St.

If I call in advance, could I request to order a flatbread pizza or grilled chicken salad for dinner?

I would call the resturant directly and ask them. They would be the only ones I think that can answer that.

You can try, it depends on what the item is too....we have tried to get dinner items at lunchtime but they say they cannot do it because the dinner items are not prepped at lunch

You could ask but I highly doubt it. All the meals for each service are prepped ahead. If the particular dish you want is on the lunch menu and not on the dinner menu they probably will not have the time to get the ingredients and make it for you. But you never know. I certainly would have a back up plan.

I have tried to get lunch selections during dinner and have always been told no. It doesn't hurt to try, but be ready to have a back up plan.

There's always the chance that they have leftover prep from lunch. Also, things like hamburgers that don't really require a lot of prep can likely be ordered any time.

In the end, it depends on what you are ordering and how much of a hassle it is to make.

Thanks for the replies everyone!! I will give them a call and see.

I was just interested in getting a flatbread pizza for dinner from Tony's.

We want to eat there during parade time for dinner, but I couldn't find anything on the menu I would eat. Looking again though, I do like chicken parm.....but I hate pasta.

I wonder if they would let me sub the pasta for vegetables?:confused3
