Can you rent with cash and then change it to points on DCL?

I would really like to try and snag one of the SPH rooms for our June '06 Eastern. Can I rent now with cash deposit and then call back when my 11 month window opens up and change that to points?

No you can't do that but it's still a good idea to book now on cash and then see what the point deal is later when it comes out. That way you can choose which way you want to go.
