Vinyl: Talking Heads - "Fear of Music" ($1 in a thrift store in NY)

Tape: R.E.M. - "Out of Time" (I bought this myself. First ever album I ever bought with my own money, any format.)

My older sister usually bought the ones I wanted (we shared a room) so that Archie's 45 was the only one I ever bought!

A newer version came out and it was on at Aerobics class a few years back. No one believed me that the Archie's sang it before. Sigh!

...the first vinyl album was Waiting For The Sun by The Doors...

I was going through some of my old vinyl albums (converting them to CD), when I realised that my very first album was Days Of Future Passed by The Moody Blues (1967) - it was this album that led me into rock and blues.
