We are headed to WDW again in Sept. and would like to try some new TS (dinner) places, but I'm not sure which ones we should try. Do you have any recommendations? Here's what we've done and liked/didn't like:

1. CRT - like the characters, food just ok (we are doing breakfast here)
2. Coral Reef - like the atmosphere, food good
3. Chef Mickey's - DD5's favorite, food ok (we are doing a dinner here)
4. Le Cellier - our favorite, food great
5. Kona Cafe - convenient (we stay at Poly), and food good
6. Artist Point - one good meal there and one bad
7. Jiko - like the atmosphere, food good
8. Rainforest Cafe - just ok
9. Akershus - like the characters, food ok
10. Ohana - didn't care for the food or service

I think that sums up our dinner experiences. What do you think we might like to try?

Thanks in advance for any help!!

my husband loves the 1900 park fare dinner at the grand floridian. we've done it five times and am planning on doing it again in oct.

Yatchtsman Steakhouse was our favorite last trip. Fun dessert for the kids as well. Or if you walk around a little after dinner, and work off some food, Beaches and Cream has great ice-cream for dessert

What about the Crystal Palace? It's a buffet. I've done lunch and dinner. Both were good. Other's like breakfast. We are just not big on breakfast. It'a a character meal with Pooh and friends. My girls love it! It's a beautiful setting also.

THanks for those suggestions. I"ll check out the menus. We will probably do Crystal Palace for breakfast (we like to be in the MK before rope drop at least once). 1900 Park Fare sounds like a possibility too. We're not steak people, but I will look into that steakhouse as well.

I'm going in Sept as well - first time with my son who will almost be 2 then. My sister highly reccommends Liberty Tree Tavern in MK - She said the character dinner was very good and I'm sure your DD will enjoy.

For family fun - I like Whipsering Canyon. I enjoy dinner the most there. It can be loud, but fun for kids and the all-you-can-eat skillet is good.

For a different food experience DH and I enjoyed Morocco - we went there for lunch. The restaurant is neat with all the mosaics and they have a belly dancer for entertainment. Plus the food is good.

My favorite character breakfast is Cape May. It has Goofy, Minnie, Chip n Dale in beach wear. I like the restaurant and the buffet breakfast is very good and it has Mickey waffles. You can walk to EPCOT from there as well.

Le Cellier in Canada is always a good meal - one of my favorites. And at DTD Wolfgang Pucks Cafe is delicious.

Enjoy!

We had excellent food and service at the Tusker House. Also- if you don't want to go into the park, what about boma? Also Tokyo Dining was great.

Raglan Road has tidied up their menu and has some very nice selections now. Food is prepared very well, but service is a bit slow.

Another vote for either meal at Cape May. Beaches and Cream too!

Marrakesh is fun! The food is nice too. Service is ok, not perfect, but hey, I'm not either.

Have you tried the "new" Japan yet?

How about Puck's Cafe or Dining room (upstairs). Nice variety, good service and excellent sushi and sashimi. If you like seafood, try the dragon roll! Delicious!

House of Blues can be nice as long as you avoid those nasty excuse for greens. :teeth:
