Can you recommend a WDW golf course...

for my DH. He'd be golfing alone. I don't golf. I'd love your recommendations and why you make that particular choice. TIA

My husband will be golfing alone on our trip as well and would also like to hear some of the suggestions.

they are all enjoyable, Disney keeps them all in excellent condition. Dont worry about being alone, they'll hook him up into a party

Are there certain courses more mentally or physically challenging than others? Are there some that are more pleasing to the eye? Is there an information link somewhere that I can get a lot of info on the courses?

been a long time since I played down there, but I think Osprey Ridge was my favorite, but then I only think that because I actually managed to play half decent that day

The Palm and Magnolia host a professional tournament every October. DH is a golfer and has played Magnolia and will be playing Palm for the first time this trip. He likes Magnolia as well as Osprey Ridge. Your DH will enjoy it!

I've played them all and Palm and Magnolia have quite a bit of water in play. The LBV course is my favorite as it runs in between the Saratoga Springs and Old Key West resorts.

My DH is an avid golfer and a "player". He hits long so the course he most enjoyed was Osprey Ridge. He played alone and ended up playing with an NFL player. He said he never saw a guy rip a ball so far....and have absolutely no short game. He was looking forward to playing Magnolia the next trip because there had just been a major there...but they didn't tell him that they had just seeded so it wasn't in great condition. They had given us the maintenance schedule for previous trips...so he was disappointed this one slipped by the CM. Make sure you ask. He has played Palm, and Eagle Pines too! He liked them both. There was a web site we accessed that gave a lot of good info. I can't find the link but I think it was called something like Marc's Disney Golf. Remember that transportation to the courses is complimentary from onsite Disney resorts. Also, the last vacation we did he was able to get in two rounds for I think $170. It was way worth it for him to play twice at that rate. Our kids are small so it works for him to get out early why we play around the resort. He works hard and deserves it. Now if I can just find something that would get me out of the house for five hours.........
