Can you recommend a nice hotel in Reno?

We are driving from Washington to Phoenix Arizona, we plan to stay in Reno overnight and I'm wondering which hotels are nice?

Go to Tripadvisor.Com its a site that reviews hotels all over the world, but the reviews and scores are only given by guests who have stayed there. I use it ALL THE TIME and am never disappointed.

Doesn't really matter. Not there to gamble - want a place that's not too loud or too scary.

I was going to suggest this also. DH just returned from there yesterday. It used to be a Hilton. Check online for coupon codes. He found one and got his 2 nights free.

The Peppermill and Atlantis are very nice.

The Peppermill is great, check their website for deals. They also have a really good buffet, (maybe the all-you-can-eat ice cream seduced me). The buffet at El Dorado is really good also, (okay, they had all-you-could-eat gelato, I'm beginning to see a pattern here). They did not make a dime off me that night! The rooms at Circus-Circus, Silver Legacy and the El Dorado are usually a good deal price-wise but you might not want to be right in the middle of everything. Check all their websites.
