Are you aware that Melborne is NOT a hop, skip and a jump to WDW property?

Yes, I just loved the pictures on our officiants website that I had to pick that spot.
I've mapquested it out, according to them, the trip is about a hour away from where we are staying for the week and our ceremony is early, so it only takes one day away from the week at Disney!

Artist's Point is an excellent suggestion. Remember, you can also ride the boat over to the Contemporary and either dine there or hop on the monorail and go to any restaurant at the Poly or GF.

We stay in Melbounre Beach quite often, and it is about 1 and 1/2 hours to WDW. If you are in Melbourne proper (not beachside) an hour sounds reasonable. We LOVE Melbounre (it is where we are hoping to move soon) and we actually got engaged there, at this historic restaurant called "The Strawberry Mansion." It has been there forever it seems, but closed literally ONE MONTH before the 10 year anniversary of our engagement, when we planned to eat there agin. I was so mad!

hmmm, not sure what that has to do with your post, sorry. Guess I just wanted to say I love Melbourne and I would love to know where you are getting married at. But you should PM that info, don't post in on the board...apparently there are some odd people out tonight!

I really don't know why my asking a question about where to eat dinner on my wedding night has anything to do with my 2 older boys can't make this trip.
