Off to DLP as part of a longer trip to France next week. Will be at the parks with ds2 and dd11 on monday 9th and tuesday 10th June before flying back am 11th june. Staying at the Holiday Inn Disneyland Paris Resort so no chance of doing the character breakfast onsite (plus we have breakfast included with our hotel package).

Would love to do a character evening meal but just can't find as much info about DLP as WDW, so could anyone recommend where we should dine please?

Buffet or a la carte is fine, probably to coincide with park closure (do you think that would be a good idea??) which will be 7pm on those days. Or we could eat earlier in the park :confused3

Any help would be lovely!

When we went in March this year we really really enjoyed the lucky nuggett. The staff were fantastic, food was yummy and we found it the best for characters, I think we had at least seven visits in the time we were there. The resteraunt has fab theming as well.

During our trip we also did a character breakfast and dinner at Cafe Mickeys too! Loved it also, but felt that the lucky nuggett was better value for money and nicer staff.

You couldn't go wrong with either though, all yummy!!!!;)

If you have a look at the restaurant sticky the options for character meals are Cafe Mickey, Lucky Nugget Saloon, Auberge de Cendrillon, Plaza Gardens, The Steakhouse and Inventions :)

Lucky Nugget is in the park - Frontierland- so you can only eat during park hrs and often only at lunch times but it is good character interaction - buffet.

Cafe Mickey is in the Village so you could eat here after park hrs - table service

Another cheap option is the tea party at Plaza Gardens - top of main street. Mainly sweet food but some savoury - buffet. Twice a day usually about 4.00 and 5.00

Where are you spending the rest of the time in France? We also do DLP as part of a longer hol in France as well.

Gosh yes how did I forget Inventions in my last reply. We had a wonderful meal here at Easter. Most enormous buffet with wonderful food

Thanks all - I just can't seem to get my head round this one, and it shouldn't be difficult to decide :)

A Small World - we are flying to Britanny to stay at a cottage for the first four nights, then driving up to Paris for a night before moving over to DLP. No wonder I am confused, it's just too much planning lol

We are going across to Brittany after a few days in DLP in July

I would reccomend Cafe Mickey. I like the fact that it isnt a buffet like most character dining. Its all a-la-carte, but also some fixed price section.

I love Brittany! It's so beautiful... Are you staying near Carnac?

If you want to check out the menus go to www.dlpfoodguide.com :goodvibes

We love Cafe Mickeys - the kids love the character interaction there :)

I would recommend Cafe Mickey for the character Interaction, I couldn't recommend anywhere else as this was the only one we did. Lucky Nugget for Lunch next time we go though.

The food was good for us but our American friends shared a pizza and it was lousy, they got it comped in the end.
