Day 6--Saturday, December 3, 2005

I woke up early after another fun night at Jellyrolls. I headed over to Epcot to get rides in on Test Track and Soarin’. When I got to Soarin’ about 9:15, the standby line was already 50 minutes long! I ran into Helenabear and her family on my way in to get a fast pass, so I stopped and chatted with them for a few minutes. I then went and grabbed a fast pass for Soarin’.

I then headed out to Test Track to take a ride. As I got into the single rider line, who strolls up behind me but Helenabear and her family. We were the only people in the line for single rider line. We got on cars right away. Helenabear and her husband wound up in the same car, and I wound up sitting next to her father for the ride.

After my first ride, I said goodbye to Helenabear and her family, and got in line for Mission: Space. I was again the only person in the single riders line, and I got right into the preshow.

After Mission: Space, I went to meet Kaycee and a bunch of people she knew at the Electric Umbrella. We had a group picture taken at the fountain.

Kaycee and I then went in search of food. We opted to go to the counter service place in the American Adventure, where Kaycee got a veggie burger, and I got a pulled pork sandwich. Kaycee seemed to really enjoy her veggie burger. I thought the pulled pork sandwich was just OK--not as good as the one I had at Pecos Bill’s on my last trip.

After lunch, Kaycee and I made our way back to our resorts--me to the Boardwalk, and Kaycee to the Swan. We agreed to meet up at Mega Mouse Meet a little later.

At 1:00, I headed over to the Mega Mouse Meet. I thought it was a little better than last year, but not nearly as good as it was two years ago. I did get some neat freebies, and spend some time talking to Len Testa.

After the Mega Mouse Meet, a handful of us headed off property to go to a friend’s house for a while. We had a nice visit with our friend, and the other people at his house.

When I arrived back at the Boardwalk, I called Goofy4Tink, and made plans to meet her at 7:30 to go to Downtown Disney. I decided to make a quick run over to Epcot to use the Soarin’ Fast Pass I had gotten earlier in the day. I really love this ride.

After Soarin’, I headed back to the Boardwalk to meet Goofy4Tink. We took the bus to Downtown Disney. We were planning on getting a bite at the Earl of Sandwich, but the line was long, and we were planning on meeting others at the Adventurer’s Club, so we decided we would come back later.

As we started our walk to Pleasure Island, I spotted David, the brother of one of the Jellyrolls pianomen, so we stopped to say hello to him. He works at the DVC booths all over the park, and I always look for him, so I was glad to run into him that night. We chatted with him and his co-worker for a bit, and then headed over to Pleasure Island to meet up with Camcolt.

Camcolt was already drinking by the time we caught up with her--she had a bucket of booze. Being the good friend I am, I didn’t want to let Camcolt drink alone, so I got my own bucket of booze. Goofy4tink got a drink as well, but it wasn’t in a bucket.

The lines at all of the clubs were wicked long, so we decided not to go in any of them. We were meeting up with KristaTX and her DH, Towncrier, and PandyPaws. We called to let them know about the lines, and agreed to meet them at the market place a little later.

While we were drinking our buckets of booze, we called and left voicemails for Kaycee and WebmasterKathy to let them know how much fun we were having. They were supposed to come with us, but both of them backed out. So, we left the voice mails telling them all about the buckets of booze. Woo hoo.

We then headed over to the market place to meet the others. We sat at a table near Ghiardelli’s and chatted. Goofy4tink, Camcolt, and I decided to go get something to eat at the Earl of Sandwich. We stopped by the DVC booth to say hello to David again.

The line at the Earl of Sandwich was much shorter now. We decided to share an Original and a turkey club (or something like that). I also got myself a side salad. Both sandwiches were awesome, and my side salad with the Champaign vinaigrette was outstanding. It was plenty of food for the three of us.

After we ate, a few of us trekked back over to the DVC booth to say goodbye to David and his co-worker some more. We said chatted with them for a bit, and headed back to see the others.

We then said goodbye to each other, and Goofy4Tink, Camcolt, and I headed to the bus back to the Boardwalk and the Swan. Goofy4Tink and Camcolt spotted lime green on another passenger, so I went to the back of the bus to say hello. If memory serves me correctly, her name was CaseManger99 (or something like that). She had a lovely family, and we chatted about DVC for a while.

Goofy4Tink and I got off the bus at the Swan, and walked back to the Boardwalk. We inched our way past Jellyrolls so I could hear from the outside. My gravitational pull was pulling me towards the bar, but I wanted to get in bed early this night. So I headed back to my room, and was in bed by 12:30, watching Saturday Night Live.
