Most people should be able to read it. My university uses this as an example of how the mind identifies letters. I remember seeing it in undergrad for a children's literacy course. I always thought it was pretty cool.

Is it really true that only 55% can read that message? Or is the real percent higher? I found it very easy to read, and that seems to be the general concensus so far - either that or we ALL have very strange minds.

Everyone can read it. I've never heard of those that can read it have a brain that is 50% faster then anyone else. That isn't true. It is a given that everyone that can read can read that paragraph.
