This is a tombstone that fell off a cemetery on a cliff in Maui. What does it say?

i think it says, the finder of this marker will have seven years of good luck, unless they show it on the internet, then they will just have a rock.

First off, it needs to be vertical, then it should be easier to read.

i know one of the words is serenity.

It took me a while to decipher it as the picture isn't all that clear.

But as best as I can figure from my years overseas it roughly translates to

"Look out below!"

joining in so I can find this thread later. sending it to a friend who is Japanese...

Nope, I can't.

But I'm turning Japanese. I think I'm turning Japanese. I really think so.

The top is hard to see, so we can't make out the entire wording, but my mom said that it is a lady's buddhist name.

Yeah, just give me some time, I'll be able to read it.

Did you really hold that thing in your sig? Is there a link to that story? :scared1: :scared:

No link. I was at the Field Museum in Chicago a couple weekends ago and they had some creepy crawlies that you could hold. I was super scared, but I held the tarantula, a hissing cockroach, and a millipede!! :scared1: (Don't ask me why I felt compeled to do so! :rotfl: )

You are the company you keep ;)

As for the rock, I think it says, "If you are reading this you're standing too close."

DS12 has one as a pet...he named her Debbie! Debbie sits on top of the dresser in her aquarium (they can crawl up glass) because if they fall more than a few inches they will crack open like a softshelled crab. This way if she gets out I don't have to worry about where she's hiding.
