Can you put tips on CC?

I know someone answered this but I can't find the thread. Can I charge all my tips onto my stateboard account or onto my charge card? I think someone said you can at guest services. If this is true what day do I go and process it before the mad rush?

Yes you can. Go to guest services and they will charge them to your account and give you slips for the envelopes.

I usually get my tips ready either late Thursday or early on Friday to avoid the rush.

What's nice with doing this is that they have the names of your servers/room steward on the tickets that they'll issue for you.(That information will be in their system linked to your name.)

It's very convenient.

It was convenient for us that they printed the names on the receipts because I had no idea who our Head Server or our Stateroom host was!!

I just wanted to second the opinion to go early to Guest Services to do this and don't wait til the last night.

I charged my tips to the stateroom account a couple weeks ago. I went the day before the last day and I went in the middle of the day -- not around the dinner and breakfast rushes. It was great. They said since I was giving the recommended amount, they filled in the totals for me and gave me a receipt and tickets to give each person receiving tips with my name, their name and the amount. It was all done in about 1 minute.
