Is it possible to add my DVC reservation onto the "My Disney Experience" app? If so, how do I do it? Thanks!

I did. The system is very buggy as they are still making changes to it. I was able to link my reservations from DVC by inputting the reservation number. I would first try through the main disney site on a computer before trying with the app. The app works better on my iPad than it does on my android phone.

I added it on the website for My Disney Experience on my laptop. Then it did show up on my iPad & iPhone. The only problem I am now having is that when I click on it to see details the app crashes. :confused3

IME I have found that it is better to add/edit on my laptop then to try on the app as it likes to crash. :rolleyes2

Check the App Store. You may need to. Update the app. Mine used to do that last week.i think an update was released recently that fixed it for me.

I downloaded the latest version of the app to my ipad and was able to added in my two upcoming DVC reservations by entering my confirmation number and last name for each reservation. Didn't have any problems with the app. Went online from my desktop and both reservations showed up there.

I was able to sync them on my computer, but when I input the confirmation and phone number into my iPhone app, it says that it does not match. So, maybe I'm doing something wrong or maybe it just doesn't work for me.

I had that happen on the app too, but I closed it down and reopened it. When you tap. On reservations to the upper right there is a symbol for people. Tap that and tap on yourself and see if it doesn't come up. I have 3 reservations but only two show up for me. The third one is for my dad. His doesn't show up unless I tap that little people icon and select his name.

It's working for me I have an ap ressie for apr and 2 Dvc trips for nov and they are all showing up online and my Disney exp app on my iPhone

I had been able to see my reservations on our home computer, my iPad was just showing me the old Disney website. I'm glad I read this, I downloaded the ap, now it's all there!:goodvibes

Thank you!

I thought it was impossible to link the DVC room reservation!

I kept trying the other day (we arrive Saturday). I just tried again now, and looked at my reservation again. I have the dreaded McXXXX type name. My reservation is Mc XXXX, with the space in it. I have to deal with this often, I should have realized it! That and our spelling is the more unusual ACK at the end, vs. ICK.

I tried many times over one day last week and no luck. It wouldn't recognize the DVC reservation number. I tried again today and it worked like a charm on the first try. We have several stays coming and it took all of the DVC reservations numbers. I will have to try the ap as well.

Mine showed up automatically, but I did have my accounts linked before I made the reservation.

After making it, it showed up on DVC site, and MDE.

What's the advantage to adding the reservation to the site?

If the on-line dining reservation system works correctly, you can take advantage of the 180+10 for ADRs. On-line check-in seems to work better from the My Disney Experience webpage. You can see both your room and dining reservations on one Disney webpage. They will also show in the My Disney Experience mobile apps (available for iOS and select Android devices).

Your connected family and friends will also be able to see the reservation using their own disneyworld.com sign on.

How does one prelink accounts from DVC to the regular Disney site? I had to manually link my reservations one at a time....

When I removed my second login, and switched to my DVC User name on the Disney website, it automatically added. To manually add your affiliations to DVC and your AP, do this steps:

  • Login in to My Disney Experience.
  • Select My Profile.
  • Select About Me.
  • Affiliations is at the bottom, select the + sign
  • Add DVC, you need your id number, not your member number*
  • Save.
  • Repeat for AP.

* Your DVC member number can be found on the DVC MS website. Under My Membership, My Profile. Each member on a membership is assigned their own unique member number.

Thank you!

Bobbi, you need to get the My Disney Experience App for your iPad. Then you can have that information on your iPad too.:goodvibes

I finally got around to dropping my extra Disney logon and went with the user name for my DVC account. Although it's been 10 days, I lost all of my reservations on the My Disney Experience app (on iPad) and on my computer. When I try to manually add the Room reservations back in, I get this error.

Error:
This reservation has already been associated to the reservation party. Please, try with another one, or call (407) 939-7429 for assistance.

When I try to add my ADRs back. It looks like the reservation is going through, shows all of the detailed, but it won't bring it further, it just says it can't link the ADR.

I got excited when I saw this:

But it won't let me select who is dining (again) and so it won't move to step 2 and then on to completion.

Does anyone have any suggestions? All of the reservations are there, I just can't use My Disney Experience.
