Can you put a tent on a full hook up site?

It looks like I waited too long to make my reservation and there are no tent sites available on the day I wanted to check in :headache:

I think that we will just stay at a hotel that day and check in the next - camp four nights instead of five. BUT - there arefull hook up sites available. I was wondering if you can put a tent on them. Problem might be that my tent is really big 20 x 11.

Anyone know if that might fit or if its even permitted? Thanks.

Yes you can. The size of the sand pads will differ in size from one to another. We did it in the 200 loop with no problem.

Have you searched for more days before your actual check-in day? If not, give that a try and a partial site may show up. You can book the extra days, pay the deposit, and then call and cancel the extra days.

If that doesn't work, you should be fine with a full hook-up. We tent camped on a full hook-up in May. We had a 9 x 7 tent and a 10 x 10 canopy. You can always fax in a request and give them your size requirements. Luckily we had a smaller paved area than some others and we were just fine.

No reason why not, as long as you have a sand pad to put up the tent.

You could put a "stinky slinky" in the sewer hook-up, then run the other end against the tent. That should make people wonder. :lmao:

I have seen one woman even put her 5th wheel and a pop up on her site. Oh the horror!:rotfl2:

Wanted to know, if a small tent can also be put up on site beside our TT, if so , do i need to let them know as to where they can add this to my already made reserversations?

You can put a tent up also. I would not add it to the reservation, it is not a big deal.
