I 1st booked our room, since I get a really good discount because of my job. Then I booked our tickets seperate. Now, Im wondering is there a way to get the DDP? If so, do you know how much it would be if it's not part of a package?

No, you can't buy the ddp. This is why annual passholders can't buy it either. We get a discount on our room and have our tickets already. You can only get it if you book a package.
Only DVC members can buy DDP seperately. Otherwise, you must book a package with at least a 1 day base ticket. AP holders often do this and use the one day base ticket towards renewing their AP.
lindsroc--in order to get the DDP, you must be booked on a Magic Your Way package, with the exception of the DVC as mentioned in the above post.
You didn't say when you are traveling. Since Disney has a special going on now (book by 10/20 and travel Nov/Dec), the special might be close to what you are paying with your discount. If you are traveling at a time that doesn't have discounts, your work-related room discount could very well be better than the savings you would have with the Dining Plan. If you talk to Disney to check on the special that is being offered now, you have to ASK for the special, and the room availability is quite limited.
