leaving this weekend for 2 night stay. Trying to keep it at $59 or less per night. thanks all.

Hotwire is your best bet. My wife and I got a 2.5 star (maybe a 3) for $29 a night right next to the entrance of wdw.

Try lastminutetravel.com You'll get a price and pictures of the hotel. With some research, there's a good chance you'll be able to figure out which hotel you are getting.

Thanks. i'm not even sure what a 2.5 is? can i put in a 3 star hotel at hot-wire and a price limit?

I have had good luck with hotels.com on Tues and Wednesdays (their sale days). I like them because you can get a refund up to 24 hours in advance of your arrival.

There are several hotels in Kissimmee that will meet your needs, and they are only about 5-15 minutes away from EP/AK/DHS.

I aplogize. Somehow I skipped over the 59 or less part. This would end up about 70 per night.

There is a Ramada near Old Town, that our h.s. Band stayed at and I was a chaperone. I think our rooms were $40 a nite. Great pool.

Did you mean a hotel near WDW or a WDW Hotel? Pop Century is the best value of the WDW hotels imo. Not $59 though.

we have stayed here a couple of times...the lobby is VERY nice...the rooms are nice...and the outside...well...is not. We never felt unsafe but it is definitely rundown outside and not very nice at all--very much a rundown motel.

isn't this the orlando hotel board?

No this is the budget board. ???? The Orlando Reosrts board is further up in the forums, under the Disney Resorts board.

try knights inn it is good for a bed and a shower cheap and close to disney we stayed there once nothing special just a room

I am going to be keeping an eye on this thread. We leave the 25th for our 20+ hour drive and are considering driving straight through to Orlando and we will need a room for that night as we don't check in until the 26th.

Keep the suggestions coming! :cheer2:

A LONG time ago, I read that if you stopped by the Convention and Visitors Bureau in Orlando, they had this big black book with which hotels had openings and you could get a cheap rate that was only available in person at the CVB. I don't know if this still exists, & I can't remember where I read it, but it could be worth a phone call to see if they still do that.
