Can you pay your balance online?

I've always booked over the phone and paid my balance at 45-days over the phone. Can you do this online and does it post automatically and give you a confirmation without any problems? I usually pay all my bills online and I have not set foot in a mall in years, but the Disney site is so "quirky" I figured I should ask here first.

It posts automatically now. It used to not. They will email you a confirmation. I have made all of my payments for this trip online. It will bring you back to the reservations page, but you will see the current date as the last payment made.

You will not have any type of confirmation number, however.
 
We have always made the final payments on line, and never had a problem. We just made a partial payment the other day, and had the email confirmation in a matter of minutes.
 
I just made my final payment yesterday online. Within a few minutes an email was sent not giving a confirmation number of the payment, but showing that the payment was listed and I now have a zero balance.

However, it did take me about 5 tries yesterday and a few hours to get my reservation to come up online. Kept saying there were difficulties with the site and to check back or call to make a payment.
 

The system has always been a little wonky when I make a payment online....it's crazy how it doesn't give you a confirmation and just goes back to the main page and scares me. I check my bank immediately after though and it shows that the money was deducted so I know it worked.

I don't feel comfortable making a payment over the phone with my debit (which is usually how we make payments). The last 2 times I've called in my debit number was compromised. Not saying that Disney reservations did it...but it is odd that it happened twice right after payments to them over the phone. I always use my Chase Disney Visa to make the down payment....but again I try to make all my other payments online.
 
Paid my balance. Thanks for the info about it not giving a confirmation # and going back to the reservation page. I was prepared for that so it didn't seem funny. Got my email and I think everything looks good.

We'll be in FL in 45 days and at WDW in 48!
 
I've always been able to make payments online, but with my current reservation that option isn't showing up.
 
I think you can only make payments on packages, not room only.

I think you are right about this because I have room only and do not have the option to pay online this time. Kind of a pain to have to call them and go through all those questions just to pay on my trip. I would definately prefer online payment.
