Can you pay with a Discover "check" for onboard account??

At the end of the cruise, can you pay for your shipboard account with one of those checks that credit cards send to you? We just got 0% interest checks for our Discover account and we're thinking of taking advantage of the zero interest rate.

Has anyone ever paid the ship balance with check? Thanks!

But I don't think they take checks, however if the discover one is like many I have recieved you can write it out to yourself before you go for cash and get travelers checks with it (or just bring the cash) and use that to pay your account.
