Can you pay for your Costco package using your DVA number as a gift card?

When booking a Disneyland package through Costco, you have the option of paying with a gift card. If you were to put your Disney Vacation Account number as the "gift card", would they accept it? They are both 16 digits, and I've read posts where people mention using their DVA as a gift card. Has anyone tried it before [when booking a Costco package]? Any luck?

UPDATE: Yes, it works as a gift card! So no need to call Costco and/or Disney.

Yes! When booking your vacation, you simply choose to "Pay with a Gift Card". Then, input your 16-digit DVA number... It works just as a Disney GC! Of course, just make sure your DVA has enough money for the initial deposit (in my case, $200).
