Can you order photos without memory maker?

Hello... deciding not to purchase the memory maker on this trip. In my opinion, I just feel like found the photos were never worth the amount of money. With that said... if we are in the parks and have magic bands, can we have our photos taken and have them synced up somewhere, without having to buy a memory maker? If a great shot is taken, it would be nice to have the option to purchase it (although I'm assuming ala cart is pretty expensive). Any advice is appreciated, thanks!

Yes, you can buy them separate but they are pricey. You just need to log into your MDE account and your photos will be there.

You have all of the cropping, signatures, etc that come with Memory Maker. They are pricey if you want to buy a number of pictures. We usually just want two or three so the individual pictures are a better deal for us.

Thank you both... This might be our last Disney trip while my son is young and I really don't want to spend a lot of time capturing moments and just want to be present in the moment! With that said, I would like to leave the option open if we happen to be in a great photo op at the right time and the picture turns out perfect, I can print out one or two and buy it

Keep in mind that 1 photo costs $15 to download. It's pretty insane! I didn't think it would be that bad, or I would've purchased Memory Maker ahead of time. I didn't take too many photos with the Disney photographers because I figured I'd just buy the few I wanted for a couple bucks each. I ended up buying 4 photos (downloaded directly to my computer) and spent $60. It was pretty outrageous.

Also keep in mind that the Disney photographers are happy to use YOUR camera. That way, you can have everyone in the picture and don't have to spend an extra dime.

It IS pricey - but I thought SOOOO worth it last trip in August 2015. Was myself, husband, DD (34), SIL (35); DGS (3) DGD (5) & DGS (15). Since I'm usually the "photographer" I NEVER get in any pictures. With such a fun family trip I was gonna get in the action this time. So glad I did. We got over 300+ pictures to choose from, easily downloadable, then uploaded to Shutterfly to print off (when they run their 101 free). I'm a scrapbooker so this was heaven. Could personalize them, put autographs, dates, borders, etc. If you do ANY meet and greets - it's so worth it.

The break-even point is like purchasing 10 pictures - everything beyond that is then FREE. But each person needs to make their own decision. Going back in June with other daughter's family and 3 yo - already got it - with a discount ahead of time!!!!

We aren't even going to bother with memory maker. We are going to bring our own cameras and save a ton of money!
