will my son be able to order a burger for dinner, he's counted as an adult, i see burgers on the lunch menu but not dinner menu
I believe there is a steak burger on the menu. Adult DS says it's great!![]()
Nope, that's gone. It was replaced with the regular buger this year.
OP, all you can do is ask, but have a backup plan as I've been turned down several times for asking for a lunch item at dinner. However, when our grandson use to go to LeCellier with us, he would generally order the filet with no sauce and french fries on the side. Since he was using an adult credit, they always would accommodate this request. So if you son likes steak, they will make him any of the steaks on the menu and hold the sauces.
If you ask for a burger, they will make you a burger. There is no reason for them not to comply with such a simple request.
If the ingredients aren't prepped, they can't comply. As stated above, you can ask for anything on the menu without sauces or spices. If you are not ordering from the fixed price chefs favorites menu, they can substitute sides.
My best friends son loves steak, plain, no seasonings, especially no sauce etc. and at Le Cellier and all Disney restaurants they do prepare it that way for him upon request!thanx, he does love steak but yeah that was what I was worried about that he wouldnt like the "fancy" stuff!
Never said the ingredients weren't available but it is always possible they won't be prepped. I certainly can't guarantee that they'll make a burger if you ask. That information would have to come from someone who has actually asked.
If my son asked for a burger and they refused, I would go ballistic!
Why do people "expect" to have things done special for them?

And, I, as a fellow guest would laugh. A lot. And possibly point out the idiot at the table beside us to fellow guests. And definitely post about in the thread of "crazy guests you've seen at WDW".
Seriously? They don't offer a burger at dinner. As such, no one should expect to get a burger at dinner. If they happen to have the items prepped, then you may get lucky. If they don't, then you don't get a burger. Going "ballistic" would change a thing besides maybe being escorted out of the restaurant and possibly the park.

*Note: this is not saying anything to the OP, but to the poster quoted. Asking is fine, expecting is not.*
As security rolls Mr. Ballistic out of the park.
Of course you can ask for a burger - but Disney's mantra for restaurants and resorts is "no guarantees."
LOL yea security is going to roll me out b/c my son is not getting his burger. I'm pretty positive that Le Celier will make the burger and not let the situation escalate to that point.![]()
